It was a fabulously beautiful spring weekend. At a friend’s house, I discovered a painting I’d forgotten I’d painted. I recognized it as soon as I saw it, and I felt like I was seeing an old friend.

On Sunday, folks came out to my open studio to visit. Friends long absent got in touch because of my email announcement. A big painting went home with its new owners. As I was preparing for the studio event, I made this discovery when I uncovered my clay table.

A wren nest had been started in the security of a squadron of my bear sculptures. So sweet!
