More Self-portraits

I did a show a few years back at the Century Center in Carrboro. The paintings were all self-portraits of me and crows. I paint crows a lot. I’m sure I’ve written about them before. The deep black mystery. The first of these self-portraits is from that series. There’s also another one in the series of me painting a red horse. The small collage and the unstretched piece are from that class at Penland with Beverly McIver and Jeff Goll I attended several years back.
