Not to rush the month but looking ahead…Mockernut and Nature Art Gallery shows

As often happens in the Fall, the art events start to pile up and there is some overlapping in my exhibitions. My “Clay for the Wall” exhibit continues through the end of the month at the Joyful Jewel in Pittsboro.

The next opportunity to see some of my paintings, cards and watercolors will be at the Mockernut Show at Doug Dotson’s pottery studio north of Pittsboro. I’ll have the pleasure of showing among 4 talented artists in one lovely, woodsy setting. You can google it or look for it on Facebook. The show is September 23rd & 24th, 10 – 4pm.

In October, I will have an exhibit in the Nature Art Gallery at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh. ┬áThe show is called “Deer, Oh Dear” and will be on display the entire month of October. ┬áThere will be acrylic and watercolor pieces with deer as the subject matter. The reception will be Saturday, October 7th from 2 – 4.
